At this free online event Luke Harding, journalist and author, spoke with Dr Richard Lofthouse, editor of QUAD alumni digital magazine.

Luke (University College, 1987) is foreign correspondent for the Guardian, with extensive experience reporting on Russia. He has written a number of books, including Collusion, a #1 New York Times bestseller; The Snowden Files and A Very Expensive Poison, later adapted for the stage.

Richard discussed Luke’s experiences in Russia and his latest book, Invasion: The Inside Story of Russia's Bloody War and Ukraine's Fight for Survival, which was shortlisted for the 2023 Orwell Prize.
