Alumni, students and Kafka enthusiasts attended a collective public reading of Metamorphosis at the Sheldonian Theatre in June 2024. The event featured readings from notable literary figures, as well as representatives from a range of student societies and Student Union leaders.
The reading was part of a programme of University-wide events and activities which celebrated the literary works and enduring global legacy of Franz Kafka whilst marking the centenary anniversary of the author’s untimely death.
