What's happening?
2-3pm: Cringe-free networking: what, why and how?
Few of us like the idea of ‘networking’. But we know that forging good relationships helps us understand how things work in new spheres of research or employment, and can open doors. Come along for an hour of myth-busting insights into the hidden job market and tips on effective networking through various mechanisms including social media.

2-3pm: Next steps for a career direction
Dr Mike Moss will overview the job market uncovering some less well trodden potential directions, review the typical career directions of past Oxford graduates and provide concrete action steps for those still exploring their options. He will be happy to answer any questions you have.

1-2pm: Mindful crafting: make a miniature mortar board!
Take a mindful moment to slow down and create your own miniature mortar board! This light hearted, step-by-step paper craft is open to all.
Eden Fay is an art and mindfulness facilitator who runs informal workshops focused on taking time for yourself, having a play and being kinder to yourself. They're great for looking after your mental wellbeing, regardless of if you see yourself as creative or not!
